Sunday, September 10, 2017, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
I’d like to invite you to join me on Sunday evening, September 10th from 5-7 pm for an evening of worship as the body of Christ, both black and white, comes together as one.
In February, I traveled with thirty Twin Cities pastors – half black and half white – to visit some of the most important civil rights landmarks in the South. Since our return we have continued to gather, to grow in friendship and seek unity through racial harmony.
The violence in Charlottesville illuminates the underlying racial tension that persists in our country. This gathering is committed to offer an alternative narrative that the church, through our shared faith in Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit can be a unifying presence in this world, offering a message of hope in a divided world.
